CHEMISTRY OF POLYDIOXANONE (PDO)

POLYDIOXANONE (PDO) CHEMISTRY - Polydioxanone (PDO, PDS) or polydioxanone is a biodegradable, crystalline and colorless synthetic polymer. Due to KFDA regulations, wires must be manufactured in violet color.

After two weeks, the body begins to synthesize the body's natural proteins (elastin and collagen). Natural protein production continues for up to 6 months until absorption (hydrolysis) of the PDO thread is complete.

METHODOLOGY

MEDiTHREAD's technique of naturally sculpting the face using the skin's tension lines causes an effect similar to a surgical facelift.
